Independent historian Terry McMaster is set to give a presentation looking at the settlement and development along colonial New York’s western frontier on Saturday, October 27th at the Oneida County History Center.
This program includes maps and illustrations from 18th century sources demonstrating the migration and settlement of culturally and ethnically diverse peoples including Scots-Irish settlers in frontier villages such as Cherry Valley, Unadilla and Onaquaga and early 18th century Native American settlements.
