The Oneida County History Center and the St. David’s Society of Utica are planning to celebrate Welsh heritage and history, on Saturday, April 27th, at 1 pm.
This hour long program includes a history presentation on Welsh settlement in Oneida County and Northern NY; Welsh folk tunes performed on harp, flute, and mandolin by Peggy and Tim Behrendt; displays featuring clothing, newspapers, and other Welsh material culture; plus genealogy tips and Welsh deserts.
This event takes place in the History Center’s main gallery in Utica.
