Lauren Robinson is set to join the Oneida County History Center as a digital archivist. This part-time position is funded by an anonymous donor to facilitate the History Center’s ongoing digitization efforts.
Robinson is expected to manage and assist in efforts to create and organize digital files for all collections materials including photographs, artifacts, documents, manuscripts, and newspapers, an announcement sent to the press said.
Robinson is an Ilion native and a graduate of Utica College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Library Information Science (MLIS) degree online through the University of Southern Mississippi and works part-time at the Ilion Free Public Library. Lauren previously worked at the History Center as a summer intern in 2018 and rejoined the organization in February 2019.
