The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation’s next Summer Stroll is set for Sunday, July 8th at 10:30 am, and will be led by the Foundation’s Executive Director, Samantha Bosshart.
The North Broadway Summer Stroll will look at North Broadway, a corridor lined with grand Queen Annes built by Saratoga’s most prominent figures such as Fred Cluett, William B. Gage, and Senator Brackett.
The tour, sponsored by the Olde Bryan Inn, meets at the northwest corner of North Broadway and Van Dam Street in front of Witt Construction.
Summer Strolls are offered every Sunday through September 2nd. All tours start at 10:30 am, last approximately 90 minutes, and take place rain or shine. The cost per tour is $5 for SSPF members and $8 for non-members. Guests may buy a ticket for four tours and receive the fifth free. Reservations are encouraged, but not necessary.
Next Sunday, July 15th at 10:30 am, is Summer Stroll Post Time! led by Georgia Horner. Explore the Saratoga Race Course area along Union Avenue featuring the Reading Rooms, National Museum of Racing, Oklahoma Track, and the Fasig-Tipton Humphrey S. Finney Sales Pavilion. Tour is sponsored by The Springwater Bed & Breakfast.
