The Old Stone Fort Museum is set to hold its annual Independence Day living history activities on Wednesday, July 4 at 1 pm on the lawn of the Revolutionary War era fort.
The observance will feature audience-interactive readings of historical documents of the time, including the Declaration of Independence, and 13 historic toasts.
The outdoor observance is free and participation by the public is welcome and encouraged.
The Old Stone Fort Museum Complex is located in the village of Schoharie at 145 Fort Road, off NY State Rt.30, 2.5 miles south of Interstate 88 Exit 23. For more information call (518) 295-7192.
