The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation will hold its Wealth & Wellness: Franklin Square Summer Stroll on Sunday, July 1st at 10:30 am.
Carrie Woerner, NYS Assemblywoman and former SSPF Executive Director, will lead a tour through the historic Franklin Square area. This district is architecturally rich and home to some of the oldest private residences in Saratoga Springs. Franklin Square is a veritable showcase of American architectural history. This tour, sponsored by Longfellows, meets at the Northwest corner of Division Street and Broadway.
Summer Strolls are offered every Sunday through September 2nd. All tours start at 10:30 am, last approximately 90 minutes, and take place rain or shine. The cost per tour is $5 for SSPF members and $8 for non-members. Guests may buy a ticket for four tours and receive the fifth free. Reservations are encouraged, but not necessary.
Next Sunday, July 8th at 10:30 am, is Summer Stroll The Good Life: North Broadway led by the Foundation’s Executive Director, Samantha Bosshart. Tour this famed corridor lined with grand Queen Annes built by Saratoga’s most prominent figures such as Fred Cluett, William B. Gage, and Senator Brackett. This tour sponsored by the Olde Bryan Inn.
