The events begin at 10 am on Saturday with the 22nd annual Architectural and Historical Tour, which this year will feature a behind the scenes look at two of the most iconic institutions in Sullivan County’s history, the Loomis Sanatorium and Grossinger’s resort, and explore the link between them.

The tour will last from 10 am until 3 pm, leaving from and returning to the Liberty Museum.

On Sunday, the activities will commence at 10 am with a pre-conference walking tour of Ferndale hosted by Maurice Gerry. Conference registration starts at 12 noon at the Museum, with presentations starting at 1 pm and continuing through 5:30 pm.

The theme of the conference is “Grossinger’s: The Grand Dame of the Catskills.”

Robert Dadras and his brother and fellow architect, Victor, will also present as part of the program, “A Plan for the Future of Grossinger’s.”

The conference concludes with a roundtable discussion featuring each of the presenters interacting with the audience.

The cost of the tour is $25 per person and the fee for the conference is $45. Participants can save money by registering for both events for $55.
