The Greater Hudson Heritage Network (GHHN) Annual Conference will be held at Bard College/Montgomery Place in Annandale-on-Hudson on Tuesday, October 10.
The 2017 Annual Conference will feature break-out sessions, office hours with grant funding organizations,tours of Montgomery Place, a large group art activity, breakfast, networking luncheon, full-day exhibit hall, the Awards for Excellence ceremony, and more.
Conference organizers are seeking breakout sessions that address how individuals have used the arts to interpret site or collections in new and different ways. They are especially interested to hear about hands-on art experiences, immersive experiences, public programming, using art to create a memorable connection to history,and using art and history to increase community engagement.
Session presenters will receive a discounted registration rate of $25.
Sessions are to be 50 minutes long (including Q&A), and may be individual presentations, panel presentations, performance/demonstration, roundtable discussion, or other appropriate presentation session types. Specify what type of session you are proposing in submission. A/V is available, specify needs in submissions. Discussion for all sessions should include successes, challenges, and/or lessons learned. The session proposal deadline is 5 pm on Friday, August 11, 2017.
