“Houses with a Secret,” the Society’s sixth biennial house tour, invites visitors to explore houses that have mysteries hiding behind the doors. In case your speculation does not unlock the secrets in each amazing home, volunteer docents will be there to demystify the local history surrounding each property.
There will be several stops this year in the Nyacks (Rockland County) – homes ranging from cottages to Queen Anne Victorian, Carpenter Gothic to Dutch Colonial Revival.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Nyack Public Library and online via credit card, by clicking here. The early bird price is $40.00 until April 28th; after that the price is $50.
Souvenir tour booklets can be picked up at the Living Christ Church, 151 South Broadway, South Nyack, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the day of the tour.
The tour lasts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is an event most appreciated by adults. No children, please.
